Find parking near Tampa Union Station

Tampa Union Station is a historic Amtrak and transit hub located between downtown Tampa and Ybor City, making it a convenient gateway for business travelers and tourists exploring the city. Opened in 1912 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the beautifully restored Italian Renaissance Revival station offers rail connections alongside easy access to nearby neighborhoods, restaurants, and attractions. The surrounding streets can be busy at peak commute times, especially as the broader downtown area continues to grow, so having parking sorted out before you arrive can make your trip much smoother and less stressful.

Parking in the area typically includes a mix of paid lots and structured facilities, with limited on-street spaces that often have time limits, metered hours, and enforcement that visitors need to pay close attention to. Because trains run on fixed schedules and traffic near the downtown core can be unpredictable, arranging parking near Tampa Union Station in advance helps ensure you are not rushing to find a space at the last minute. Street parking can be competitive and subject to local rules, so planning ahead for a secure, dedicated spot is especially helpful for overnight trips or travelers unfamiliar with the area. Always confirm current parking regulations and station information with official and updated sources before your visit.
