Everyone. I’m Jeff from ParkMobile. Jessica’s here with me today. Hey, Jessica.

Hello.

Hey. So today we’re doing an Ask Me Anything session. So this should be really fun.

We took your questions and we’re gonna see what you guys wanna know about the ParkMobile app. If you have questions, you can submit them on Twitter at #AskParkMobile. So Jessica, what’s question number one?

Our first question comes from Jim in Washington DC. Jim writes, “I started a parking session in the app, but had the wrong license plate number selected. I couldn’t figure out how to change it. What am I doing wrong?”

Okay. Jim, sorry to hear that. It does happen from time to time that, if you have multiple cars set up in the ParkMobile app, you might choose the wrong one when you’re starting a parking session. Unfortunately, right now, there’s nothing you can do about that. The parking session’s already started. We’ve sent the information to the enforcement people around, in the town or at the garage, so they have that information. What we recommend you do is just start another parking session. I know you’re gonna end up paying twice, but it’s better than getting a ticket. So just start that next parking session. Make sure you pick the right car this time. We are working on a new feature where you’re gonna be able to change the car mid-parking session, but that’s just not available yet. So, unfortunately, you’re gonna have to pay for a second car. But contact our customer service department. We’ll see if we can help you get reimbursed on that initial parking session. And we always recommend, when you’re doing a parking session, let me show you. We take you through a process where, as you go through, we have a confirmation screen.

Now, we always recommend you really pay attention to the confirmation screen. Right at the top, we put the car you have, and if you need to change that car, we make it very easy to pick the right car in your inventory. So always check that before you start a parking session.

Very common mistake though. I’ve made it myself, which is kind of embarrassing because I work for the company. But generally, you have to be very careful. When you’re parking,

make sure you’re confirming all your information, what credit card you’re using, what car you’re parking, and that way, you won’t get a ticket and you’ll only pay for one parking session.

So this has been our Ask Me Anything session. If you have a question, make sure to go on Twitter and use the hashtag AskParkMobile. And we’ll see you next time.
