Last Saturday, forty ParkMobile employees participated in a building project with Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. The organization believes affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities, and at ParkMobile, we care to give back to our people and the different communities we serve.
It was an amazing experience for everyone involved.
We worked from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm in the hot Georgia sun to build a house. By the end of the day, we had built the frame for the entire house. It was hard work, but very rewarding.
The homeowner, Gary Black, was onsite to help with the building. As we raised the wall with the front door of the house, he was the first person to walk through his new home.
Great work by the ParkMobile team living out our core value:“Support Our People. Support Our Community.” We strive to invest in, take care of, and give back to our people and the different communities we serve through our charitable arm, ParkMobile Cares.
