These days, recycling bins can be found at restaurants, venues, college campuses, malls, public parks, and many more locations, so play a role in the protection of our planet by recycling instead of disposing in the trash.
- Plant a tree: There are organizations and charities across the country that offer volunteer tree-planting opportunities. In Atlanta, Trees Atlanta is a popular non-profit that protects and improves Atlanta’s greenery.
- Support environmentally-friendly businesses and products: Think twice and do your research before purchasing goods and services. From beauty products to fashion, there are now hundreds of products on the market that support sustainability.
- Use less energy: Turn off lights and unplug devices when not in use.
