Find parking near Residence Inn by Marriott Richmond Downtown

Residence Inn by Marriott Richmond Downtown sits in the historic Shockoe Slip district, placing guests within walking distance of the Virginia State Capitol, the riverfront, and downtown business offices. As an extended-stay hotel with modern suites and in-room kitchens, it draws both business travelers and tourists who want to be close to key Richmond attractions without sacrificing comfort. Traffic in this part of downtown is typically steady, especially around commuting hours and near Richmond Main Street Station, so planning your arrival and parking in advance can make your visit far smoother.

The hotel offers on-site valet parking for a nightly fee, which is convenient but can fill quickly during busy travel periods or major events, and nearby street parking is limited, time-restricted, and often metered, making it less reliable for longer stays. Securing parking near Residence Inn by Marriott Richmond Downtown ahead of time helps you avoid circling crowded one-way streets, reduces stress, and lets you focus on enjoying nearby restaurants, museums, and river walks. As with any downtown visit, be sure to review current local parking regulations and check the latest information from official sources before you travel to ensure a hassle-free experience.
