Find parking near Gather & Hem Bar

Gather & Hem Bar is a stylish lobby bar and lounge inside the historic Miller & Rhoads building at 501 E Broad Street, now home to the Hilton Richmond Downtown and Miller & Rhoads Condominiums in the heart of downtown Richmond. Its refined atmosphere, creative cocktails, and elevated Southern-inspired bar menu make it a popular stop for hotel guests, concertgoers, and visitors exploring nearby theaters, the convention center, and other city landmarks. Because it sits in a mixed-use complex in a busy central business district, traffic can be steady throughout the day and particularly active around evening events and weekends, so planning how you will get there and where you will park is especially helpful. Booking parking in advance lets you arrive relaxed and ready to enjoy the bar’s food, drinks, and live music without rushing through downtown traffic.

Street parking in this part of East Broad Street is limited and often fills quickly during peak dining hours, nearby performances, and downtown workdays, and visitors should be mindful of posted time limits, meter regulations, and residential or permit-only zones that are enforced in the area. Being inside a hotel and residential complex also means curb space is shared with valet operations, rideshares, and deliveries, which can make circling for a spot time-consuming if you arrive without a plan. Securing parking near Gather & Hem Bar ahead of time helps ensure a smoother visit, whether you are meeting friends for cocktails, enjoying jazz night, or stopping in before a show. Always review current local parking rules and official city or venue information before you travel, as regulations and availability can change over time.
