John from Dallas writes, “I used the ParkMobile app, but I got a ticket. What can I do?” – [Jeff]

Oh, John. I’m sorry. Well, we do hundreds of thousands of parking transactions every day. We do millions every month. Ninety-nine percent of the time, it works well, no one gets a ticket. But there is that 1% or even less than 1% that sometimes something goes wrong in the process.

We apologize. We know that’s frustrating. I’ve actually used the ParkMobile app and got a ticket in the past. It actually wasn’t my fault. The enforcement officer somehow made a mistake. So if it happens to you, get in touch with our customer service team. You could go to support.parkmobile.io and submit a ticket.

Someone will get back to you. We’ll try to resolve the issue as fairly as we can. This just happens with parking. It’s kind of a complicated infrastructure of technology and enforcement people. Sometimes the people get it wrong, sometimes it’s human error. People make mistakes. Sometimes there are issues with the technology.

So a lot of things could go wrong in the process when you’re doing this many parking transactions every day, but our priority is to support our customer, support our users, make sure you’re happy with the app, you’re seeing value in the app. So if there’s something we can do to solve the problem, reach out to us and we will do everything we can to help you. So this has been our Ask Me Anything session.

If you have a question, make sure to go on Twitter and use the #AskParkmobile, and we’ll see you next time.
