Hike or Bike to Fall Foliage
There’s no better place to watch the leaves change color than amid the mountains. There are numerous beautiful settings in Boulder to walk, hike, or bike and watch the leaves change color for fall. The loop trail at Wonderland Lake or walking path at Mesa Trail provide colorful, fall-hued views.
Bobolink Trail is a moderate, two-mile bike ride offering leaf peeping and bird watching. Yellow Aspens pave the way of the path for plenty of open space, great for biking, running, or a casual walk.
Cheer on the Buffs at Folsom Field
Founded in 1876, The University of Colorado Boulder is the flagship university of the University of Colorado system. Also known as CU Boulder, the university enrolls just under 40,000 students at any given time and is also home to the Colorado Buffaloes college football team.

Game Day and Events Parking
When it comes to game day, you’ll have plenty of parking options. If you pre-purchase Football Game Day main campus parking online, you’ll have access to any public event parking lots on the main campus. Parking near Folsom Field
With a pre-purchased ticket, you’ll have access to any public event parking lots on the main campus. There are also parking lots that open specifically for football games, which you can learn more about here.

A Taste of Fall
Boulder alone is home to over 20 breweries, many of which serve seasonal specialties. Upslope offers a limited-release Pumpkin Ale, and Avery Brewing Company serves Rumpkin, a rum infused with pumpkin.
Visit a Pumpkin Patch
Nothing screams fall quite like pumpkins, and what better place to pick one out than at a pumpkin patch? With acres of farmland surrounding the city, Boulder has dozens of seasonal pumpkin patches. Popular patches include Munson Farms, 7th Generation Farm, Rock Creek Farm, and Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Patch.
Stroll Through Boulder Farmer’s Market
Open on Saturdays through mid-November, Boulder Farmer’s Market offers some of Colorado’s best fall products. Located at 13th Street between Canyon and Arapahoe, the market operates from 8AM-2PM.
The Boulder Farmer’s Market is also open on Wednesdays, but only until early October. On Wednesdays, it is open from 4-7PM.
