Find parking near Courtyard by Marriott Richmond Downtown

Courtyard by Marriott Richmond Downtown sits in the historic Shockoe Slip district, putting guests within walking distance of the Virginia State Capitol, the riverfront, and popular restaurants and bars. As a busy downtown hotel in a lively entertainment and business area, traffic on East Cary Street and the surrounding one-way streets can be steady, especially during rush hours and weekends, so arriving with a parking plan helps you start your visit smoothly. The hotel offers valet parking for a nightly fee, providing a secure and convenient option for guests who prefer to leave their car with staff rather than navigate downtown garages on their own. Because this is a compact urban neighborhood with mixed residential, office, and nightlife uses, demand for curbside space is high and quick drop-offs are often easier than lingering at the curb.

On-street parking around the hotel is typically metered or time limited, and spots can be hard to find during peak dining times or when nearby offices and attractions are busy. Planning parking near Courtyard by Marriott Richmond Downtown in advance can save time, reduce stress, and make it easier to enjoy nearby sights without worrying about circling the block or risking a ticket for overstaying a meter or ignoring posted restrictions. Whether you are in town for business meetings or a weekend exploring Richmond’s historic sites and riverfront trails, securing a reliable parking option before you arrive makes getting around downtown much more straightforward. Always verify current parking rules, hours of enforcement, and fees with official city resources and the hotel before your trip, as policies and rates can change.
