Driving through new records

After regaining our momentum in the years prior, 2023 was all about reaching new milestones as one global company. In our 15th year, we saw over 25 billion minutes of parking, equating to almost 50,000 years’ worth. For reference, 50,000 years ago was the Stone Age. By launching ParkMobile in hundreds of new locations, we broke records for the number of accounts, parkers, app downloads, paid transactions, and reservations. We also celebrated award wins and welcomed many new hires. Now, take a ride with us as we highlight 2023.

The customers that drive us

The year 2023 concluded with 59 million ParkMobile users. Over the entirety of the year, our user base increased by over 15 million, up 17% over 2022. With new users comes new parkers. In 2023 we had 14 million new parkers, an increase of 23% from 2022. Over 6 million people downloaded the ParkMobile app or one of our numerous ParkMobile powered, partner-branded parking apps from the Google Play and iOS App stores.

Launching around the universe

In 2023, ParkMobile launched over 200 new suppliers, bringing mobile parking payments to many more markets around the country. The mobile app expanded into new cities, universities, venues, and parking facilities, including Cleveland, OH; The University of Arizona; Omaha, NE; and Hermosa Beach, CA.

Outside of the United States, as part of EasyPark Group, we became the first company to launch our app into outer space. Now, we’re not only making cities on Earth more livable, but we’re also making our galaxy more livable, too. We continued to expand our event and transient reservations footprint with 1.9 million reservations. From Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour to Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour and a plethora of sporting events in between, event-goers were out and about in 2023. More locations and users result in more parking transactions. In 2023, we processed over 134 million parking transactions, an increase of 18% from 2022.

Round of applause

ParkMobile hired a whopping 55 new employees as our North American business continued to expand. The new talent must have seen ParkMobile’s name on the lists of the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Best Places to Work and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Top Workplaces. Thanks to our innovative, creative, and passionate team of ParkMobilizers, we received national recognition for our hard work. Some of the top award wins included:
