Find parking near Rocky Run Park picnic ground

Rocky Run Park picnic ground in Arlington is a compact, two‑acre neighborhood park that packs in a picnic shelter, tables, playgrounds for younger and older children, a lighted synthetic field, basketball courts, fitness equipment, and restrooms, making it a popular stop for families and local sports groups. Its central Courthouse-area location means it is an appealing green space for picnics, casual meetups, and outdoor workouts amid the busy Rosslyn–Ballston corridor, so visitors often combine time here with nearby shops and restaurants.

Because the park sits in a dense residential and commercial neighborhood, traffic on surrounding streets can be steady, especially during commuter hours, evenings, and weekends when games or practices are scheduled, and on nice-weather days when the playground and picnic shelter are in high demand. On-street spaces and limited paid parking nearby can fill quickly and may be subject to time limits or residential restrictions, making it wise to arrange parking near Rocky Run Park picnic ground in advance to reduce circling and delays. Booking parking ahead of time helps ensure a smooth visit whether you are meeting friends, attending a casual game, or sightseeing in the Courthouse and Clarendon area, and visitors should always review current local parking rules and official guidance before they travel.
