Find parking near Lubber Run Park

Lubber Run Park in Arlington is a 31 acre green escape featuring wooded trails, a stream, playgrounds, sports courts, picnic areas, and an outdoor amphitheater, making it a popular spot for families, fitness enthusiasts, and event goers. The park sits in a residential neighborhood near Ballston, so nearby streets can get busy during peak recreation hours, weekends, and performance times. Because of this, planning your trip and parking in advance helps you arrive relaxed and ready to enjoy the trails, playgrounds, or a show without circling for a space. Visitors should also be aware of posted local regulations about park hours and use of nearby neighborhood streets.

Drivers will find some dedicated free parking associated with the park and community center, but these lots can fill quickly when sports programs, community activities, or amphitheater performances are underway, pushing more cars onto surrounding blocks. Street parking is generally limited, subject to residential restrictions, time limits, and standard Arlington enforcement, so it is wise to allow extra time and consider alternatives before you arrive for parking near Lubber Run Park. Booking parking ahead of time where possible can reduce stress and keep your visit focused on enjoying nature and recreation instead of searching for a spot. Always check the latest information and official Arlington County resources for current parking rules and travel guidance before your visit.
