Find parking near Japp's - Since 1879

Japp's - Since 1879 is a historic cocktail bar in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, housed in a former 19th-century wig and hair goods store that gives the space a distinctive vintage character and “sip of history” ambiance. The bar is part of the busy Main Street entertainment district, drawing evening crowds for handcrafted cocktails, DJ and karaoke nights, and special events, so the surrounding streets can be lively and congested, especially on weekends. Because traffic and demand for curbside spaces increase as the night goes on, planning your visit and arranging parking in advance can help you spend more time enjoying the bar and less time circling the block.

Street parking in this part of Over-the-Rhine is limited, often metered, and can be competitive during peak nightlife hours, making it important to understand and follow posted time limits and payment rules to avoid tickets. Many visitors choose off-street options in the broader downtown and OTR area to simplify their trip, and booking ahead is a smart strategy if you are unfamiliar with the neighborhood or visiting at a busy time. Securing parking near Japp's - Since 1879 before you arrive can reduce stress and make it easier to walk straight to Main Street’s bars, restaurants, and music venues. Always confirm current parking regulations, hours, and rates with official city or facility sources when planning your visit.
