ParkMobile, the leading provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in the US, announced today a partnership with the Borough of Caldwell to enable people to pay for parking on their mobile device. The ParkMobile app is now available at approximately 200 single space on-street meters.

New stickers and signage will provide information to drivers on how to pay for parking using the new app. ParkMobile is a free app available for iPhone and Android devices, users can additionally register on parkmobile.io. After setting up their account, customers can immediately begin using the system with their registered mobile device. The ParkMobile app lets users remotely view and update/add time for their parking spot.

“We are pleased to be able to offer a convenient parking payment option to Caldwell visitors.  Not only is it easy to use, but it will provide Caldwell with parking data that will enable us to make informed decisions about our future parking needs and fulfillment of those needs.  For those who choose not to use ParkMobile, our meters will also still accept coins.  I’d like to thank the ParkMobile team for the professionalism and excellent customer service they have provided to Caldwell,” stated Mayor Ann Dassing.

ParkMobile maintains a wide presence in New Jersey with availability in Newark, Jersey City, Hoboken, Princeton, Cape May, Wildwood, Montclair, New Brunswick, among many more. Additionally, Parkmobile partners with the New York City DOT to offer smart parking at all metered spaces across all five boroughs under the ParkNYC app. Users can use the ParkMobile app for reservation parking in select locations.
