New parking service gives Wildwood residents and visitors new option to pay for parking from smartphone
Wildwood, NJ – May 15, 2015 – ParkMobile, LLC announced today that their mobile payments solution is now available in the city of Wildwood. With the ParkMobile solution, Wildwood Customers can easily pay for parking at all of the 1,400 on-street spaces throughout the city with their smartphones using ParkMobile’s mobile applications for iPhone, Android, Windows, Blackberry, and Amazon. ParkMobile deployed its mobile payments solution in the Borough of Wildwood Crest last summer and has seen much success and enthusiasm for the new parking payment option.

ParkMobile’s mobile payment system is very simple and easy to use. Customers need only to register online at parkmobile.io or download the mobile app in their phone’s app store. Once registered, they may use the mobile app, internet, or a toll free number to pay for parking. After setting up their account, customers can immediately start using the system with their registered mobile phone. Enforcement officers will be able to see that a motorist has paid with ParkMobile using a wireless handheld device, so customers should not worry if the meter does not change. Mobile app users may also choose to receive alerts and reminders 15 minutes prior to expiration of their parking session. Time limits on meters still apply and the app will not allow users to purchase more time than allotted by the meters.
