Buffalo, NY — July 14, 2025 — Mayor Christopher P. Scanlon is pleased to announce ParkMobile, the leading provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America and part of Arrive, is now available in the City of Buffalo. Residents and visitors can use the ParkMobile app to find and pay for parking digitally at over 4,300 on-street and off-street parking spaces.
Mayor Christopher P. Scanlon said, “The City of Buffalo is excited to announce that ParkMobile is now part of our community’s parking experience! Residents and visitors now have another easy, convenient and quick way to pay for parking – right from their own phone.”
“We’re excited to partner with Buffalo to modernize parking across the city,” said David Holler, Vice President of Sales at ParkMobile. “This collaboration marks a significant step toward creating a more connected and accessible urban environment for residents, businesses, and visitors alike. Our platform not only simplifies the parking process with easy-to-use digital tools but also aligns with the city’s broader goals of improving operational efficiency, reducing traffic congestion, and enhancing the overall quality of life. By leveraging technology and data, we’re helping Buffalo build a smarter, more sustainable mobility ecosystem.”
In addition to its parking platform, ParkMobile is introducing ParkMobile Insights in Buffalo—an advanced analytics tool that helps cities make smarter, data-driven decisions. The solution provides real-time dashboards with anonymized data on parking behavior, demand trends, and space utilization to help the city make the right decisions for its drivers.
With ParkMobile Insights, Buffalo can:
- Monitor peak usage and adjust staffing or enforcement
- Identify underutilized zones to improve space allocation
- Generate detailed reports to support planning and transparency
“ParkMobile Insights turns parking data into actionable intelligence,” added Holler. “It’s a critical tool for building smarter, more efficient cities.”
ParkMobile is available for both iPhone and Android devices, and can also be accessed on a mobile web browser. To pay for parking via the ParkMobile app or website, users will enter the zone number found on the parking meters and signs located within the parking lot, choose the duration of time they wish to park and touch the “start parking” button.
