SMS Phishing Attempt
ParkMobile is warning customers of a phishing scam that impersonates ParkMobile, requesting payment for unpaid parking sessions and/or parking citations.
Important information: SMS phishing attempt
The SMS message appears to come from ParkMobile and includes instructions to click a link and pay the phony balance online. This is a fraudulent message and is not from ParkMobile - do not proceed.
ParkMobile will never ask customers to:
- Share security codes
- Send bank cards
- Transfer money
- Use a link in an email or text message to transfer money
- Download another app or service
- Never contact customers and ask them to share bank or payment details
We urge all our customers to stay vigilant. If something feels wrong – always check the sender. Our cybersecurity team are working to take down the fraudulent webpage and identify those responsible.
