As part of a phased rollout, ParkMobile will soon be available at various locations throughout the city, with on-street parking payments near Discovery Park District and Wabash Landing scheduled to launch in early June 2025
West Lafayette, Indiana – May 7, 2025 — ParkMobile, the leading provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America and part of EasyPark Group, will soon be modernizing parking in West Lafayette, Indiana. As part of the City’s broader efforts to improve mobility and accessibility, the new parking program is designed to deliver significant benefits for the community and will be rolled out in a phased approach.
As part of Phase 1, ParkMobile—which is already in use for on-campus parking at Purdue University—will expand to 476

parking spaces in West Lafayette beginning in early June. This initial rollout includes areas within the Discovery Park District, such as Airport Road and Mitch Daniels Boulevard, as well as the Wabash Landing area near Tapawingo Park and the Levee. These are high-demand zones where metered parking will help improve turnover and access for residents, visitors, and nearby businesses.
Phase 2 is expected to launch later this summer and will extend the program to an additional 467 parking spaces, including metered streets near Purdue University, where community parking demand is most concentrated.
The initiative aims to enhance the overall parking experience while supporting broader community goals. These include increased parking turnover, improved access to local businesses, and more efficient use of curb space—all of which contribute to a more vibrant and accessible city environment. In addition, all parking revenue generated through the program will be reinvested directly into local infrastructure projects, including street repairs, sidewalk enhancements, and ongoing improvements to the parking system. This reinvestment strategy ensures that the program delivers long-term value to residents, businesses, and visitors.
